Welcome to the Plantronics Manager Pro Partner Pilot and Early Certification Program

Thank you for participating in the Plantronics Manager Pro Partner Program Pilot, which will be live from October through March 2018. The pilot program aims to both train and test a specially targeted group of partners to ensure we create a mutually beneficial partner program. The next few pages will lead you through a set of comprehensive sales and technical learning resources designed to enable you to successfully sell, service, and support customers, all with the main objective of being amongst the first to achieve Plantronics Manager Pro certification status.

How does the pilot program work?

Welcome to our portfolio of Plantronics Manager Pro learning resources. Please click on the button that most resembles the role you fill at your company.
To complete the certification, follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Select your expertise

Click here if your role is technically-focused (Sales Engineers Solution Architects Etc…)
Click here if your role is sales-focused (Sales Representative Sales Manager Etc…)

Step 2 - Navigate through the SaaS sales cycle

The following graphic represents a typical SaaS sales cycle. When selling and supporting SaaS solutions, dedicating yourself to successful post-sales practices can result in a lucrative recurring revenue stream.

By clicking each box below, you will be taken to resources that will equip you with the necessary information to perform each phase successfully. We recommend you initially review in order: Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew. As you move through the sales cycle, you may want to check back to review relevant materials associated with that phase. 

Land This is the part of the SaaS sales cycle where you work to “land the deal”
Adopt This is the part of the SaaS sales cycle where you enable your customer to “adopt” the software. Install and deploy and use the software.
Expand This is the part of the SaaS sales cycle where you determine upsell and cross sell opps.
Renew This is the part of the SaaS sales cycle where you encourage and prepare the customer for their subscription renewal

You have entered the LAND section of this certification.

The LAND section will be useful when you are working to make the initial sale of Plantronics Manager Pro.

In this section you will:

  • Be trained on Plantronics Manager Pro pre-sales process
  • Learn an effective way to position Plantronics Manager Pro to a customer
  • Learn how to work independently from the Plantronics sales team to sell Plantronics Manager Pro
  • Understand Plantronics Manager Pro customer engagement needs

The ADOPT section will be useful when you help your customer install and deploy Plantronics Manager Pro.

In this section you will:

  • Understand the steps for a successful installation without Plantronics assistance
  • Learn the proper handover procedure to a customer

You have entered the EXPAND section of this certification.

The EXPAND section will be useful when you determine upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

In this section you will:

  • Be trained on how to utilize Plantronics Manager Pro reports to assess and optimize customers' UC and contact center solutions
  • Understand lifecycle engagement actions (firmware/software updates, new users, new devices, softphone changes, etc)
  • Be trained on level one support, Plantronics resources, and escalation requirements
  • Be able to deliver upsell recommendations
